RE: If Quebec separated...Having lived 25 years in Quebec and of french background I can tell you that Quebec would be friendlier to outside business concerns than most other provinces in Canada. Quebec is surely unique in North America and I am sure that those who have travelled there can attest. However they also pride themselves on their business savvy and world aloofness. Threat of seperation can no doubt cause volatility in the markets but at this stage it is a moot point. An independant Quebec would compete even harder with the rest of Canada to attract international business just to prove themselves formidable on the world stage. The answer is NO this is not affecting the stock price so lets nip this one in the bud! Yakpi
