My intent when I invest is to profit - sometimes not a huge amount, sometimes only a bit, but still it's better for me if my trading account goes up and not down - I'm sure you will agree with my general premise.
I have seen YMU/MUM go up quickly and down quickly. Sometimes it's market hysteria, sometimes it's just a natural correction, sometimes it's just time to fish or cut bait. In my case here, I decided to gamble on some profit taking and hope I can get back in if the market continues to go through a correction phase, or on the next correction phase, if there is one.
If I can't get back in economically, I have still made several thousand dollars in profit. Ca$h in the bank. I like when that happens. If I am able to get back in on a downward swing, wonderful too.
I am not deserting the stock, so to speak, just trying to play the markets a bit and feather my nest at the same time.
If this does all of a sudden skyrocket and leave me sitting here with my little bit of profits but no stock, I will still wish all of you who are holding the best of luck!
