NSE says it's new 556-meter exploration well is targeting gas in the Notikewin formation. Cheap quick money. It's annual report states "This area produces oil and gas from many horizons ranging from the Upper Cretaceous Dunvegan Formation, the Lower Cretaceous Peace River, Bluesky & Gething Formations and the Lower Devonian Slave Point and Gilwood Formations, as shown in Figure 1 (the Slave Lake Stratigraphic column)." With multizone potential in these plays, it's becoming clearer why C1's exclusive with the Metis is so important, controlling what 165K acres? (didn't go back to look it up). They have years of growth ahead of them.
