BZA has filled a management discussion on Sedar which contains their first quarter 2012 results.

Not sure why this doesn't get press released?

For those that don't know: - go to Sedar at www.sedar.com - Click on your language of choice - click on Search Database - click on public company - Type in American Bonanza for company name - click search It will list all documentes filed since November 16 in alphabetical order by document name. You will find a number of them filled on May 14, 2012 including Interm financial statements for Q1. ...more

People need to read the MD&A carefully.  For example, it says: "During the quarter, 9,796 tons of gold bearing ore was mined with an estimated average gold grade of 0.29 ounces per ton." 9,796 tons with an average grade of .29 ounces per ton is 2,840 ounces of gold.  That is where the "about 100 ounces a day" comes from.  Apparently not all of it was sold ...more

Good news ! Hopefully such good reports don't encourage a selling spree ! But then people off cue despite the obvious are giving additional opportunity to others to take hold of what looks like a bargain ! the simple, maths is sufficient to convince me (I'm an actual dimwit ) even if the sales go towards payment of infrastructure implementation and the like ...more
