AC becoming a monopoly

First Sunwing, now westjet cancelling flights due to staffing, good luck to all other LCCs , flair, zoom , poop etc . AC is the preferred airline for employment. Would you trust flying an airline with staffing issues?
"As a large global carrier operating the most modern, largest aircraft, we are a very desirable destination for talented pilots," AIr Canada said. "As a result, we are able to attract pilots as required."
That's not the case for everyone else. Small airlines often have so few pilots on staff that it doesn't take the loss of very many to stop planes from flying.

Doubtful US will open to foreign pilots , unions strongly oppose it and will put up a big fight, AC will gobble up all the pilots it needs from other Canadian airlines, starting wages mighr be low now but when contracts come up in 2024 it might improve to attract new hires, except other airlines to continue to cut routes as they can't meet staffing requirements
