Dividend Increase and Surprisingly Good EarningsDividend moves from 11 cents to 11.5 this quarter.
Analysts expected 31 cents earnings and they delivered 51 cents!! I am guessing analysts did not expect them to fold in the Kensington Capital Partners assets this past quarter. But it does show how much these acquisitions can move their earnings and they have an even larger acquisition to fold in this quarter on the Private Capital side.
The base business is a cash cow and the Private Capital Partners will deliver lumpy earnings that should drive a rerate from analysts and investors and.move this to double digits this quarter.
And there can easily be more dividend increases ahead this year.
