Shares are good value

This company historicly trades at a premium to book value.
Book value after the write-down is $15.78 per share.
When we see a return to the historical trading range it will be $16+ and it pays a 12% dividend while you wait.
Not a pro just an investor but I was buying today because I see good value.
I believe it could return to the high teens without breaking a sweat but that's just my own humble opinion.
Management is solid and their interests are aligned with shareholders as they are large stock holders.
They have been buying heavy all the way down.
....not a lot of downside risk here either.
Risk reward looks good to me.

Long Alaris!!!

Rdgeo, As a shareholder, why am I not allowed to have an opinion? If you don't like what I have to say--that management has made a large number of poor investments that have cost shareholders dearly--then please be more constructive and explain how I am wrong. Please share why you are invested in this company and others should continue to do the same. Maybe you can change my mind.  ...more

Hey GK. I didn't mean to stifle your free speech, I just dont understand why someone with such a negative attitude to management would continue to hold shares in a company. After all, isn't good management key to any good investment. I have enjoyed the dividend up to now & really you can't blame management for the pandemic & the negative effect on the stock market, whether it ...more

Here’s to give a better sense of Alaris’s risks. In its operating history, of the 15 businesses that it exited, four led to huge losses but the rest delivered double-digit rates of returns. Overall, the average total returns were 63%.
