Interesting times ahead.....
It is my belief that the RE will be enlightening. I think that there is significant upside to this property and most folks know it. The property should have been consolidated with the Lamaque project next door.
This has ES all over it, as I think EO has legitimate concerns over his job and understandably so as AZX has a history of being an explorer with A.D.D. until they turned around and drilled the other way at Orenada. If you recall, it was after the December ’16 PP with Sprott Private Wealth that things really began to change and ES began to take control of the BOD. Evidence of this is the way they pulled back from the Triangle Too drilling with no notice or NR’s on the results.
Once Peter Gundy took his seat on the board, ES began to position the board to follow his lead and it only took 60 days for him to be seated as chairman. Fast forward to today, and we have a split board and EO is trying to regain power. This can only be good for AZX shareholders (imo) as there will more than likely be multiple suitors for the pot o’ gold in the ground. (I am thinking the RE has exceeded all internal expectations, which were high)
I think E.O. has always planned to move up to Manitoba when a plan of arrangement is completed, as I do not see the suitors wanting the projects up there.
Best of luck to all.
