I feel that they have to put in an appearance to show that they are an ongoing operation and attract either additional suitors or investors. If they don't make an appearance, then most people would interpret that they are throwing in the towel, which would tend to diminish the already slim chances of coming out of this with a decent deal. Not much happens at the Booth. Serious stuff happens in the Bar/Meeting Rooms. Perhaps!!!!

Nelson11 - Agreed - important contacts usually do take place away from the public booth. My point was if they missed the event entirely it's a lot harder to be part of any of those back-channel contacts and meetings. All we can do for the moment is wait and see.
