Do unhappy shareholders have enough votes to defeat this deal? Do we want to defeat this deal?
What are realistic possibilities  for current shareholders if deal goes through?

Hey avante  --  I could be wrong, but I DON'T see this deal in its present form being approved by shareholders.  Read my 9:29 post for further thoughts.  Jmvho. goldopp

For Azx shareholders to achieve the 12 cent buyout we were promised, O3 will have to trade at $11.88 per share.  (at $3.88 our shares are worth 4 cents and increase/decrease one cent per one dollar move in O3). I believe the deal will go through if AEM votes in favor of it. (They voted for Eric Owen at the last meeting and it was a close call). I see no point in voting against the deal (I ...more

Hey GBU  --  it all depends on what alexandria is worth to the interested party.  Everything is relative, as Einstein would say.  Even if a back deal has been made with AEM voting in favour as you suggest, there are still other entities that would be interested.  I think Chantrell is doing what most adept traders do: they put in a stink bid while the gdxj gold indice is at ...more
