Div now over 10% but....
Yield now over 10% but the Cdn housing market is in flux. 2022 was a banner year for RLP but this year will be different as major markets move to a more balanced scenario. On the other hand most of BRE's income comes from franchise fees - both brokerage and individual agents - but this could drop as non producing agents leave the business or move to low fee brokerages.

"Yield now over 10% but..." There is no "but". Look at 2020 and early 2021 when few real estate transactions took place and, when they did, the price and related commission were much lower than today. Yet, BRE continued to pay the same $0.1125 dividend, month after month. Good long term "tax advantaged" investment.
