I believe NGD will clean up all the lands in the area very soon. They have a time frame set forth to their shareholders of when production is to start. All is in BYV's favor at the moment as gold is heading north dew to numerous reasons. NGD will want to clean up all the loose ends very soon. I'm thinking by May of this year. The longer they wait the more it will cost. DYODD

Frank when I was at PDAC I thought a deal would have taken place. IMO NGD probably has a last target date in which permits, EA's ETC must be in place and completed for them to acheve their mine date, having said that IMO BYV probably have one too in which they will be taking this to plan "B" so to speak, do a PP and start poking some more holes. To understand what the future is for Bayfield one needs to apply the economies of scale rule. Newgold has already suggested in it`s past disclosures that they see this Rainy River Project as a NEW EMERGING GOLD DISTRICT. Newgold is a consolidater..that is a given. Therefore  Newgold when they are good and ready will consolidate this entire district. That means that EVENTUALLY they will ...more

Could even be another player coming over to play in this very large sandbox, maybe even someone bigger. I've been following this area for 9 years now. Excellent location which has the potential of lasting for a number of years. Again all IMHO. Always do your own DD. TH

Hammer has it right. The real story here is that this is not one property The Rainy River Resources project. This is potentially a new gold district and one can only appreciate a company like Bayfield if one looks at all of the players in the region. Just be patient and position yorself with a stake in all of the players and hang on for the ride that is coming as the country tunes into this ...more
