The following are various thoughts on Blue Lagoon from a person with a geological/mining background whom I highly respect:
"The Big Onion has far more than just copper waiting to be found. Not only is there a surprising amount of placer gold coming off its north-facing slope and flowing down into the Driftwood watershed, but there are also several major silver-lead-zinc showings that have been hand-worked as early as 1910. The Big Onion is a treasure chest just waiting for the right moment to be opened.
Dome Mountain really is a gem of a project area. It's easy to work on, even in winter with heavy equipment. It has lots of near-surface or at-surface outcrops, mostly consisting of quartz breccias and stock works. There are at least 7 major pre-existing prospects on Dome Mountain and maybe 11 smaller but still interesting targets scattered all over the general area. There are also dozens of test trenches, shafts, adits, and other old workings, which have no known documentation on them. Dome Mountain will have Blue Lagoon's work cut out for them for years; you could spend months on just a couple of targets there.
I can't wait to see what comes out of drilling around the Freegold target. If there is a wide copper structure there as well, it could make for a very juicy mine down the road.
Outside of a few forums, Blue Lagoon seems unheard of as an explorer. They are not in the Golden Triangle, which is where a lot of investment is focused, but that doesn't mean that they are not worth looking into. I am hoping that they can get haul trucks into Dome Mountain soon and move that existing stockpile of ore off to the Nicola Mill for processing while they wait for the B. C. government to get in gear with that final permitting.
They are currently waiting on the final stage of the permit to be allowed to actually mine at Dome. This usually wouldn't take long, as they have an existing permit that just has to go through the typical motions to be modernized. Lately though the Province of B. C. has been taking their time with permits in general because of covid. It shouldnt be long now either way. They are one of the more on-the-ball companies I've been watching."
