How long is the timeline from closing of proceedings to final award decision? I think Sailor had some stats, but not sure if it answered that question directly. 

Also, what options does the Government have to appeal, delay paying out etc.

Natural 120 from date of close with option of additional 90day. There are always grounds for appeal.  Gabriel is looking at their options now. Petro gov't is mired in debt and is further pushing a full on communist spend. No way he can pay off a sizeable award. Aris is telling the market it thinks it will have approal for mining withing next 12 months. So I would say 120d to 1 year

At least the rising price of gold is a kind of news published day by day.  Another all time high seems to come soon. Any cheap reward payment (under 1 B US$) results in a greater win for Colombia day by day with this rising gold price.
