RE:Normal course issuer bid

RE:Normal course issuer bidI guess the best way to describe why this discourages me is to put it in plain layman terms. Imagine the company saying..." look we want people to buy our shares and hold them for a year. So we will tell them we are going to buy 7 million shares sometime in the next year. That should make people buy our shares hoping that when company starts buying the 7 million, investors can sell for a profit. But we don't actually want to buy any so let's make sure we say that their is no assurance any purchases take place--------------------------------' Now contrast that with this announcement " the company believes our shares are drastically underpriced. So we will begin buying shares on the open market and will continue buying over the next four months until we have accumulated 7 million or the share price reaches our second financing price of 75c--------------- pretty obvious which announcement will be noticed by investing community
