Absence of visuals todate

Wrt the above: I tentatively posit that Hole 1 has not been a great success. Hopefully my view will prove to be utterly incorrect.

This is a massive, pivotal campaign:- the target is big (for nickel deposits) but small in the mining space and, oh so prospective.
If 4 or so holes don't produce good results (at the very least), then - at least for me - Albert Lake's prospectivity would be materially damaged.

That would leave Gochager - which has been partially de-risked via the shallow drilling completed todate.

Yes I would agree with your assessment that perhaps hole 1 didn't get much or we would have heard something by now. Even if my favourite target turns out to be a dud I'm still very positive about Fathom's other targets at Albert Lake and of course Gochager will be drilled sometime in March which will be very exciting.

The drop in sp certainly suggests hole 1 didn't hit a massive nickel body.

Well I'm thinking if they did hit something huge in hole 1 we would have heard about it however the company doesn't have to say anything until the assays come back and would still be regulatory compliant. Having said all that Ian Fraser did seem receptive to the idea of releasing pictures of mineralization which he has done in the past. I don't have my mind made up either ...more

Market selling off on one drill hole?  Without assaying, very strange.  Lots of drilling to be done yet, this is a buying opportunity

I think the price went up on light volume on the hope that some good news would leak regarding the first hole.  Since that hasn't happened, back down we go on equally light volume.  I suspect it's meaningless.  I wouldn't call it a sell off.  Nothing has happened except some light speculation on no news and now a reversal, also on no news.

Exactly. I'm in agreement with you guys and think it is all just speculation at this point. Lots of drilling going on with Fathom Nickel on several targets on two great properties. Still very early in this drilling campaign. I'm still very confident they will hit massive sulphides or net textured sulphides similar to the original Rottenstone deposit. That mineralization ...more

Hat tip to Mega for pointing out to me that it is possible that visuals will be released to coincide with PDAC. Bb
