Industry action

Lots of good & positive action in the cannabis sector today as almost everyone is moving up, and some are doing so significantly.

Hoping we are going to be included in the upswing and not left out.   Wait and See

Idk I think we're running in semi-silent mode here relative to all the cash-bleeding big shots. Good thing the fundamentals are going to be in our favour with quarter by quarter improvements.

I love how people think if a small company in the haze of cannabis dong stocks that finslly turns a profit will all of a sudden become a player and the share price will explode. It doesnt matter what they do, they are trapped at the bottom of a terrible sector. Its not going to happen. There IP is useless. Plus, IP costs money to defend, which they have none of. Anyone could take their IP and they ...more

I don't think anyone is interested in stealing the IP anyway therefore defending won't be necessary. There is better extraction process and tech out there.

What sad lives TrstAph and Stealth lead, spending hours and hours bashing a stock they said they've sold (long ago I believe at that). Their motives are sketchy AF. Do I wish OILS' SP was better? Absolutely. Is it frustrating having spent years averaging down and still being down? Yep. Do I think they're undervalued? Absolutely. Do I think the cannabis sector right now is getting ...more

Yet you AuroraAurora spend hours promoting the stock and speculating all over over the place. It's like you love seeing your own mutiple and consecutive posts on the board... You Are Not The Gatekeeper. People have their difference of opinions, some people are super excited right now and some people are super frustrated. To be fair, if you're (actually) so confident and sure this is going ...more

and what stock am i bashing exactly? of course i'd want to see OILS stock at much higher prices. It could drive more attention coupled with fundamental news with sustained growth. But unfortunately the sector in canada will never be successful. Maybe food/bev pot shops show profit.  Look at Canopy, Aurora, Aphria, Hexo, Labs, Valens....all doing terrible! 2022 will not end well. OILS ...more

Sad lives? that would be for people for who lose money or wait for money to be gained for years...at the same time, they are aging and not realizing huge potential for profitability elsewhere.
Comment by AuroraAurora on Feb 10, 2022 11:35am
My case and point - you don't hold OILS, and are more interested in opportunities elsewhere, yet you post on this board nonstop. I'm open to hearing varied perspectives based on solid and well-explained logic, but I don't want to hear blanket statements such as that they will fail when there's simply no way of knowing that. I also don't want to hear from someone who is POed for ...more

If by any miracle, NL hits .25 cents, sell and never look back. It doent even flinch when the industry moves, this is a real problem.
Comment by BlacknBulls on Feb 11, 2022 12:26pm
TrstAph, it's been really frustrating the last 2 months, although I still believe they have a chance.  Sure would be nice as others have also mentioned to see Paul and other key insiders buy up some shares at 16 cents.  Show some confidence with your own plan beyond just words.  I know the usual defenders and excuse makers will rush to say "blah blah blah" but I KNOW I ...more

Dont forget, i bought NL originally at .60 cents, then multiple purchases at lower prices and still lost money when i finally pulled the plug at 31 cents. I hung on as long as i could, while listening to the IP pipe dream and possible profits quarter after quarter, etc. Im happy where i got out, and i know i bash this stock alot, but for the people that own shares i truly hope you break even on ...more

So TrustAlpha, what you are saying is that your post-shock trauma prevents you from seeing any difference between buying OILS on mere promises at 61 cents years ago and buying the same stock today when the company is in really good shape at 16 cents a share. No difference. And that you will continue hitting the same nail for the rest of your life. OK, I can see that. So not the guy to turn a ...more

You say NL is in really good shape? What does that mean? They have been in "good shape" for the last 2 years according to management. It was a terrible investment then, and the same stands now. If anything its even worse now because we know the Canadian cannabis market is finished. I wouldn't put a penny into it if someone had a gun to my head. Thats just logic. Get away from ...more

Trst, Trst, Trst... I thought we made clear your position was flawed. You say Nextleaf is in bad shape? What does it mean? You don't like the idea that someone could make money from this 16 cents stock because one day you lost money with it? You've been hurt, everyone should feel the pain? This stock has no place to go but up. Today's share price doesn't represent its value ...more
Comment by TrstAph on Feb 13, 2022 3:59pm
Tell me why this stock has to go up? Is it the universal law that NL has no where to go but up? With all the things you said happening in the world, WHY WOULD YOU BUY A PENNY STOCK??? the absolute worst decision you could ever make. The smartest? Hold cash until the smoke settles. Or put it somewhere in a safer market, only idiots would invest in penny stocks in very uncertain times.
Comment by shneps on Feb 13, 2022 4:49pm
At least you admitted you're an idiot. Anybody who bought cannabis stocks in the first two years (without selling them) is an idiot. Everything and everybody was sooooo....overvalued beyond what the market could ever handle and it collapsed.  Surprise, surprise. Now is the time to start evaluating the remaining companies to see who will rise to the top. You bought a penny stock and ...more

Ive made lots of money since is dropped this flaming pile of shyte. And i admit i invested like an idiot before, holding on to this flamer for too long. And stayed in the canadian cannabis industry too long for sure. But now your the idiot. Your still here. Why? There is soooooo many better places to have your money. Or are you underwater so far your too much of a puzzy to pull the plug? Yeah most ...more

yes, shneps is underwater with OILS. yes, the canadian cannabis sector will take a miracle to be bullish. Based on demand, lack of ambitition, oversaturation of companies etc.... Canada just doesn't have what it takes to be successful.  Any hope rests with legalization in USA. If that happens, USA will outperform and accelerate faster than Canada ever did.  The biggest melt up ...more

What's your underwater position at right now? how much % in the red and for how long? You do realize February is halfway done.
Comment by shneps on Feb 14, 2022 1:08pm
My position is down currently 18% but this is technically all free money as I had over 600,000 shares at $0.185 and sold 2/3 of the position when it ran into the 30's. No loss here. Patiently waiting and deciding whether to increase my current position. Buying in gold lately so not a lot of powder available. And I don't buy on margin.
Comment by stealthct on Feb 15, 2022 11:38am
Do you own stock of any tissue paper, paper towel or kleenex companies to wipe away your tears from owning Canadian Cannabis companies? LOL
Comment by AuroraAurora on Feb 15, 2022 12:31pm
Do you have any decency?
Comment by Keepthedodoaliv on Feb 11, 2022 3:26pm
I would also agree that I'd like to see insiders buy up shares.  Like I mentioned before, "who's going to bid the share price up?"  Surely management must have known a cash raise at .20 cents was going to tank the share price.  But here we are, there's probably not much they can do.  The HMMJ stock price is at 5.83 down from $18.08 52 week high, so in a ...more
