RR Provides First Draft of NI 43-101
Poised for substantial growth with a range of upcoming milestones, Recharge Resources (RR.c RECHF) is pushing toward commercial production at its Pocitos One Lithium Brine Project in Salta, Argentina with the first draft of its inaugural NI 43-101 Mineral Resource Estimate.
Currently running an additional block model to support the final draft which will be filed in short order, the report includes some cost estimates from Ekosolve for a 20,000-tonne lithium carbonate plant that is inclusive of a HCl acid plant and lithium carbonate plant.
The plant will supply Richlink Capital up to 20,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate per year.
RR President, and CEO, David Greenway, commented:
“I am delighted the WSP project engineers are building a resource model for the NI 43-101 update resource estimate and appreciate their diligence in this report. The Company is pushing forward on all fronts with our inaugural NI 43-101, with MT geophysics survey and porosity studies completed, and a pending drill program to continue to build on this highly anticipated report. These developments should make for an exciting next period for Recharge and its stakeholders at the Pocitos Project.”
Having completed drilling the third hole at Pocitos which achieved 169ppm lithium assay, RR is currently awaiting permits for its upcoming 3-well 2023 drill program to expand on the maiden resource and reclassify it to the proven and probable category.
Additionally, 200 litres of brine were collected earlier in the year and tested using Ekosolve's Direct Lithium Extraction Process, which achieved 94.92% extraction of lithium and produced 99.89% purity lithium carbonate at Pocitos.
