Concussion and Football!
Brett Favre has initiated a lot of talk recently about concussions in Football on the heels of his being diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. I see they also have new padded covers for football helmets to be used in practice. There supposedly is a stat that says 2/3 of all concussion injuries happen in practice.
Sona was pushing a rapid test for concussion a couple of years back but I have not seen any news reports about it lately. It is still on the website but I am not sure if progress is still happening or if it is temporarily on the back burner while their main research at the moment is the cancer trail.
