So why did TRIP cancel its auditor?

Did you not find it a major red flag that this change of auditors announcement was made by TRIP? It is usually a huge red flag for any firm to order the its auditors to leave immediately without a clear explanation.

What is going on? Is anyone concerned that TRIP is continuing the huge burn on cash? Maybe the former auditors were also asking that question but we wil not know without an unequivaca statement from the CEO and Board?

MNP (previously known as Meyers Norris Penny) is one of the largest full-service chartered professional accountancy and business advisory firms in Canada. MNP's head office is in Calgary, Alberta, and has offices from Vancouver Island to St. John's.

What is going on?

Was the auditor terminated for cause? What specific cause?  Or was the auditor going to expose wasteful practices? Do you not think shareholders are owed an explanation given the fiduciary duties of the auditor to the shareholders as well as the fiduciary duties owed by the Board and CEO to the shareholders? Just asking.
