UUSA controls the Apex and Garfield Hills Project in Nevada, USA. Not only is Nevada a Tier 1 mining jurisdiction but US uranium miners have the potential to take advantage of US government uranium production incentives.
The Apex Project contains Navada's largest past-producing uranium mine. Utilizing modern discovery methods UUSA believes it can yield even more uranium from the Apex Project. Multiple samples from Apex have returned grades over 0.5% U3O8 and up to 3.19% U3O8.
UUSA's Garfield Hills Project spans 1,268 hectares and is located just 12km east of Hawthorne (Mineral County) with access via Hwy 95 and county-maintained roads.
Today UUSA shared results from their 2023 Garfield Hills drilling program. 5 drill holes returned wide zones of elevated radioactivity, including one that intersected 18.0m of elevated radioactivity with downhole probe readings from 251431 cps.
Continued prospecting and ground truthing also outlined a mineralized surface expression of over 4km along strike EW from the current area of drilling.
With these results, UUSA plans to begin planning a follow-up Phase 2 drilling program at Garfield Hills later this year.
