Isn't it strange that the stock isn't trading at $10.75?  The X-div date is June 26.  So anyone buying today June 25 at $10.60 will get the $0.135 per share dividend, and later get the $10.75 per share also and pay no commissions.  Am i missing some detail?  Thanks in advance.

Not a bad deal but they do take the risk, although very slight, that the deal will fall through and they will lose 1/3rd of their investment.  For that they deserve something.

Well, OMERS buys when things are cheap or else they wouldn't be buying.  Of course they will say that they are paying a nice premium but they are getting a great deal or else they wouldn't have offered.  i will hold my shares and get the full $10.75 and any more dividends prior to closing.  imo, the stock would have reached $10.75 on its own in a few years or less anyways.&
