high volume/little price movement

This could be a turn around signal.

I was wondering why Canacord was selling. Some investor friends feel that Canacord is having some free cash flow problems themselves and is trying to raise the cash by selling off the easy stuff.

This is just an opinion of course on personal levels.

GLTA the good folks here.

LOL Canaacrap having cash flow problem:: not happening and I seriously doubt Cannacrap would have much if any  of KWH to begin with ;;;;;

I tend to think the house got stuffed last week, now the main broker has to get rid of the burden. Long term market is still a downward trend.

getting pounded everyday gotta wonder when this will stop

all BS  in my opinion ;;;  cannacrap has no bearing on kwh share price

They've sold a lot of units this month. I may be wrong but from what I've noticed on TSX level II figures close to 100K. That's enough to keep prices down when sold strategicly.  Maybe covered units they have to get rid of after return, because they are shorting this trust themselves???  This theory could be way off base. So please feel free to correct it.  I ...more

Ok but really 100K over 24 days is hardly a lot of shares though? and maybe they have a client that wants some cash or wants out and was wanting to sell out? who knows?;;;;;;

or(hope not) KWH management out and lied big time in the news release last week and there is something goofy with the up coming financials ;;I think cannacrap would be privy to informations we can only dream of.>>>

I've been lied to by management before. I'm hoping this trust's management is different. I believe with July 30 being the last day to be on record for the distribution, Friday is the last day to pick up the units and collect the distribution. Todays sell off in volume could be shorts covering so they aren't responsible for the distribution to the lenders????   Thx for ...more

Yes, July 27th is the last trading day before the stock goes ex-div. However when shorts cover they have to buy, so it should not cause a sell-off but a short-squeeze. Shorters covering cause the price to go up, not down. This stock is simply not attractive to new buyers for a variety of reasons:  1- The company has already said they will be losing customers this year in an effort to ...more

Agree on all points and beat me to the punch about short covering.  There may yet be a bit of run up before record date as there is still time.   Investors are very wary of high yielding names and for good reason.  It is usually a sign of trouble but I'm hoping they can get a couple of decent quarters in to start to turn this around.   So far it's been a one way ...more

I understand what you folks are saying about the escrow units being sold at fire sale prices.  I mentioned short covering because of the high volume of sales today. Someone has to sell units to the shorts so they can cover. The escrow units would be a bargain for shorts at this point.  GLTA the good folks here.

<<  Todays sell off in volume could be shorts covering so they aren't responsible for the distribution to the lenders????   >> Huh?  If shorts were covering (buying), the price would be going up. Ever heard of a short squeeze? The selling is most likely from the lock up shares that are now free to trade.  Those shareholders are cashing in some chips. The ...more

there was like maybe 125k total shorts so i just do not buy that the terrible share price is because of shorts ;;;;;;there is something else wish I knew what is wrong here ;;;;;;;

Not if they're picking up CHEAP escrow units being dumped on the market. Maybe this is what they were waiting for???  I don't see a huge amount of shorted units either. I understand it doesn't take much to tank a thinly traded stock.  The thing is, everyday there are buyers and sellers of more units than have been shorted.  As Predawn says ...more
