BHP to Invest a Further US$22m in SolGold

 
Highlights:
  • BHP agrees to invest US$22m in SolGold as 77m shares at 22.15p per share.
  • BHP to be issued 1:4 options (19.25m) exercisable at 37p within 5 years.
  • SolGold has invited, and BHP may provide, secondees for the technical effort for the completion of Feasibility Studies at SolGold’s 85% owned Cascabel project in Northern Ecuador and regional exploration effort.

cannot wait for solg s next stink bid for cgp , there s a pattern of companies turning down takeover offers only to see their stock vaporized and accepting either a much lower offer or a receiver

3 percent equals 22 theoretically 15 percent equals 110 gives a gross value of 4 ish to cgp, very opportunistic of bhp, seems a bit desperate from nick to got for this at these prices, let s see if the other major does not opt to take a run a cgp to submarine bhp

I suspect that NC will make a bid to take a greater share of CGP sooner than later. The BHP deals creates an imbalance that they will likely be aiming to fix. ogod00 I suspect you know this and are trying to bash this stock in hopes of buying up some cheap shares. Even the new money won't keep SolGold going for very long. Hopefully they get a resource update and pre-feasibility out the door before they have to go back to the trough. Having BHP as technical advisors is good.

i hope so, as far as bashing to buy more which seems to be a go to phrase of submorons, put up a bid tomorrow for 20000 all or none at 2.40 and i promise to sell
