My broad reading about SolGold's NSR agreement with FNV leads me to conclude that CGP's 15% direct interest in Cascabel is NOT in this deal.
If this is the case, as metal prices rise, this lesser known item should make CGP's share of this deposit MORE VALUABLE than an equivalent SolGold share.
KNOW THIS
Franco Nevada's royalty streams, of which there are about 56, often pay out MANY TIMES that company's expectations. According to its management, 1 or 2 have paid out 100 TIMES EXPECTATIONS!!!
No surprise that Pierre Lassonde is legendary at playing this part of the mining game.
He invented it!
Thankfully for all of us, Cornerstone management didn't play at his table.
AND......
We should accept that Newcrest is familiar with ALL of the above.
