Oil sands

Stuart Olson has 450 people daily at Suncor and are pretty major up here in all oil sands sites. I’ll take that over a weed company valued at a billion dollars right now . Oil sites in northern Alberta are doing well- it’s like a mini boom.

I’m actually rather surprised at this, with what Stuart Olson did to Suncor in 2012-13 and Suncor having full knowledge.

Stuart Olson bought Laird electric who was the biggest electrical company here in 2016. Don’t be an idiot - Stuart Olson wasn’t anything at Suncor before that

want2retiresoon, you obviously know zero when it comes to Churchill/Laird/Stuart Olson and who is who in the zoo. Your Suncor comments and dates are a joke. You might want to check on your facts before you start spewing your BS on this board. The dumbest comments I have heard in a very long time.

Pretty sure I know fort mac and Suncor pretty well

Your joking right??? Anyone that knows anything about Stuart Olson knows that Laird has been around for at least 20 years and was part of the Churchill Corporation along with Stuart Olson. Churchill Corp changed it's name to Stuart Olson to better reflect the company. In around that 2008  timeline LAIRD had around 800 to 1,000 men working just at the SUNCOR main plant. Now you are going ...more

Oh I get it, that is why you said "when Stuart Olson bought Laid electric". Any body with knowledge of this company knows that Stuart Olson never ever bought Laird electric, both companies were under the Churchill umbrella.. But you sure know Fort Mac and Suncor pretty well. Do you even know what day it is??? Anyway, keep living in your dream world but for the sake of the people that ...more

Actually the Churchill Corporation bought Laird Electric from its priveate owners on February 7, 2003.  You can look at their 2004 or 2005 financials on Sedar.  I believe one of the owners was on the Board for quite a while.  One of the better acquisitions by Churchill Corporation now named Stuart Olson.

That's correct and his last name was Schneider I believe. Anyway it seems like the stock is getting some traction.
