All of the peer group of mortgage companies have reported superb results for Q3.

Yeah, I bought some as well. Usually, people put in a lot of stop losses on companies that have had a good run. The big guys can see this and they hit the stops allowing them to accumulate shares of a solid company at a cheaper price. As these "weak hands" are shaken out and stops cleared, it allows for the stock price to resume the upward momentum as very few sellers remain.   ...more

I agree...with the Q3 results just around the corner...the big guys shook the tree to pick up some cheap shares...like you said investors put in stops to protect their gains and then they get stopped out by the big firms picking up cheap shares... The results for CXS are going to be solid...national news talked about mortgages and home purchases and prices in Toronto Vancouver Calgary and across ...more

You know, I hear that expression from tme to time "the big boys are shaking the tree". How do they pick up these stops, seriously? No buyers is the problem,,,and you just have to wonder what the line is that is causig this.
