Not sure why there is so much chatter on this board about things having nothing to do with why we are all here...to learn something in order to bet on whether CXS will go up or down. Teacher is entitled to his views but I can assure you he doesn't know anything about CXS. Ignore what he writes if you don't like it. Simple fact is that Street is competeing in a market that includes a billion dollar competitor and is originating similar loan quantities to that competitor. It is run by a team at least as talented and hungry as the competitor and the market has room for them both to grow. Aditionally they are just approaching renewal years, where their margins will improve and its just a matter of time before their bank licence is approved and they begin in the alt-A market where Home Capital has a 2B market cap and no significant competitor. Not rocket science here.
