More Factual Data

in 1924 the U.S. inacted an imigration policy that almost stopped all imigration. The countries economy tanked for 15 years  and foreign investment stopped when the policy was inacted, massive job loses happened, business closed their doors at a breakneck speed. Trumps policies will destroy the american economy within two years. You see America needs to fill 700,000 jobs per year it can not fill with present population. When trump starts to kick people out of the country that number will explode, business will close their doors faster than before when this happened. Investment money from off shore will dry up the second he walks into the office.Job losses will be massive for all trumplikins. You will get what you asked for. Funny how history repeats itself over and over again.

So that's the support for a completely open border! Like 1924 is comparable to today, haha what a buffoon. Immigration policies are usually intended to bring in the best educated from other countries to advance the US and make them more competative globally. A small amount of unskilled, low wage earners are needed to fill low skill positions and account for population decline. Most of the ...more

LOL, is that why the patents fell by 64% when that legislation was inacted in 1924, immigration creates a high skilled workforce. Instead of drinking trumps bs you should do some research on immigration and wage gains because of it. What happens to countries with a robust immigration policy not just the U.S. but all countries around the world. So keep pumping trump lies, what isn't he up to ...more

what happens when a dictator takes over a country. History is full of examples all over the world. With respect to the U.S. it's estimated 17 trillion dollars in offshore investment will leave the country within two years of trump taking office. A loss of over 30 million jobs will happen as all this investment money leaves the country. The U.S. needs trillions per year of foreign investment to ...more

Most American's are opposed to the flood of illegal aliens via an open border so not sure why this is even a topic of discussion. Clearly you don't have a grasp of economics but here are real time expample, proving you wrong. Between 2017-2020 Trump restricted immigration to the lowest level in decades. Yet there was economic growth, low inflation, and rising wages, ie that is why more ...more

While I agree that immigration is out of control, it is the republicans who keep standing in the way of immigration reform. And as for there being low inflation and economic growth during Trump's term, that was due to the previous administration. Trump's tax cuts to the wealthy and his adding $8 TRILLION to the national debt is a large part of why we have inflation now. Biden added some ...more

And yet it was the Republicans who blocked the Border Security Bill ... funny how the truth always seems to come back and bite you guys in the butt...

Democrats don't negotiate on boarder security, they allow mass migration as an extortion method to get what they want, and when it doesn't pan out they use the blame game. The Bill simply expenses for more border security to fast track more migrants as the same amount of migrants will now be penciled in.  A simple Executive order would shut down the mass illegal migration, Trump was ...more

Hey a while ago I was watching Joe on MSNBC (low-brow TV) and they were talking about how this version of Biden is the best version.... hahaha really now or how about the episode on 60 minutes where they talk about his age and mental acuity!  That is just plain cover up and would be the definition of stupid forever if anyone believes this. I think everyone can agree that Biden is demented and ...more

The Bill simply expenses for more border security to fast track more migrants as the same amount of migrants will now be penciled in. Who would sign off on that. Good for the Republicans to say no.  A simple Executive order would shut down the mass illegal migration, Trump was able to do it so it can be done but they use the excuse of the Border Security Bill to just continue to allow mass ...more

Just the facts President Trump entered the White House with the goal of reducing legal immigration by 63 percent. Trump was wildly successful in reducing legal immigration. By November 2020, the Trump administration reduced the number of green cards issued to people abroad by at least 418,453 and the number of nonimmigrant visas by at least 11,178,668 during his first term through November ...more

You said it yourself Vern. Between 2017-2020 Trump reduced immigration to the lowest level in decades.  Not illegal immigrants. It is another discussion altogether whether or not the country needs immigration in order to grow the economy.

If  you've ever wondered why there's a odor and brown hue to the magats so called "facts" its because of the origination of the content.  Derriere I say, their comments stink..!  ;-)

illegal migration as well through policies like remain in Mexico which dried up the movement while Mexico was more restrictive of allowing migrants to enter. This is and should be well understood, and it's concerning that you are not aware.
Comment by dart321 on Jun 03, 2024 10:27am
Yes and it was Your republican party that blocked legislation to fix the problem, it was you orange leader that told his pack of blood hounds to stop any legislation in regards to the boarder. Republicans now own any and all problems the U.S. is now having.
Comment by VeritasVern on Jun 03, 2024 10:43am
You are clueless, the Bill just allowed for more border security to act as migrant administrators. More importantly the bill allowed for up to 5,000 migrants per day. That equates to more than 1.8 million/year not including get-aways, which clearly doesn't address the central issue. Good for the Republicans to block that. But as usual the Repubicans are at fault for everything it seems while ...more

LOL ... you might wanna read up on that Afghanistan thing my friend ... Trump pretty much owns that one.  Trump "negotiated" that one all by himself. Nice try though.  "The Trump administration in February 2020 negotiated a withdrawal agreement with the Taliban that excluded the Afghan government, freed 5,000 imprisoned Taliban soldiers and set a date ...more

Excellent post, KozmoT.  Thank you, although you forgot to mention that at the time of the American withdrawal the Afghan government had 350,000 well-equipped soldiers and the Taliban had 35,000. Thank you, again.
Comment by KozmoT on Jun 03, 2024 3:27pm
Good point though not sure where you got your numbers. And keep in mind the Afghan government was NOT included in the deal Trump made with the Taliban. And the Taliban almost immediately began ramping up their attacks after they somehow conned Trump into it.

If it is the emergency that you say it is, wouldn't something be better than nothing.  Isn't nine months a long time to wait. Oh sorry, I forgot.  That's not long at all really is it.  After all, if a woman gets pregnant due to rape or incest it's not a hardship to carry the baby full term according to some Republicans.

You might note the draconian laws the red states are enacting are telling women they have no rights to their own bodies that belongs to the republican congresses. The republican supreme court said as much. So the real question is are women going to sit by and let the governments in these states take control of their bodies?
