"Copper & Nickel Mining in Minnesota" UMD

I am currently at the Center for Ethics and Public Policy at the UMN. Bob McFarlin was speaking on behalf of Twin Metals. The only things I'm learning is how the Minnesota mining regulations work and the sentiment of the audience(~150 people) towards sulfide/copper mining.

Lots of people are clapping for the environmental representatives, especially Betsy Daub. A lot of concerns about the environmental impact was talked about. Kind of interesting. I'm sure someone else on this board attended it.

Daub is the one PAID by the environ-Mental-ists to spew propaganda, false infomation and outright lies. The 'chosen one' to be a hero for their cause... the one that praises the earth rather than THE MAKER. one day you will see the light.

Everyone who spoke was paid by someone. I only caught one lie on her part, which was due to lack of research. The rest was pandering and a bunch of information that was used to draw the wrong conclusions. Those who know little about the subjects would not have known the stupidity of some of her inferences.  I don't think it has anything to do with praising the earth vs the maker. They ...more
