Articles like this having negative impact.

Articles like the one in the link below are having a negative impact on Minesota mining stocks. The article is heavily biased and lists absolute worse case senario. It does not take into account modern technology and state and federal regulations that must be complied with. The article also lists a cost of 3 billion for water treatment in their worse case senario. It does not mention that one could probably buy and anuity today to cover the 3 - 6 million dollar cost in perpetuity for 100 million or less. Also Polymet is an open pit operation which Duluth is not (big difference environmentally)  Fear mongering, extremely biased with a lot of misinformation about sums it up for this article.

They also need to get the message out there to the general public. When a newspaper like the Star  Tribune prints a misleading and biased article like that one, and is read by a general public that does not know a lot about mining and the regulations that mines must operate under, it does a lot of damage.
