Management compensation & lack of focus?
DM is a junior resource company with a senior company management structure and costs. Regrettably, unlike serious senior resource companies, it seems to be lacking focus, is spending furiously (and frivolously?), and exposing shareholders to delays and potentially another expensive financing.
For example, reported management salaries and non-equity incentive plan compensation (excluding option compensation) for 2012 were as follows:
Dundas - Chairman & CEO $540,000
Baker - President $594,000
Osborne - COO $485,000 (annualised)
Dee - CFO $260,000
Peterson - VP Exploration $221,000
Total $2,100,000
Total option compensation $1,746,000
Very discouraging!
