5 cents a share

I follow DM but I am not a shareholder (full disclosure as they say)
One of the big banks has a 5 cent a share target price this morning

My viewpoint, in a nutshell, the property cannot become a mine at todays commodity prices.  The return on capital would be less than zero.  At some point if we get $5 copper and $15 nickel and high PGM prices then the property will be fabulous.

New debt is not possible and DM needs cash to carry on and in a few years to pay back debt.
The situation is hopeless and that is why management is so hesitant to be forthcoming with news.  Anything they say can either be construed as misleading or downright negative.  The geology of the property combined with current copper and nickel prices do not go together.  This is not the fault of management.

At 30 cents the perscribed course of action is very clear to me.  Take your money and run.

The current problems ...more

Those thinking DM will sink much further and those of the opposite opinion really need to post some of the math and reasoning behind their posts. The reason for Anto's decision really is not that clear and there could be many reason for Anto's decision. Anything from not being happy with a deal nthat made them shoulder a disproportionate amount of costs to wanting to focus on other ...more

Well mat, I don't have access to the report that you mentioned. But I know a bit about this company. As you know the result of feasability study was rather disappointing and that was not because of low grade but rather because of low recovery rates. A good management start working on metallurgy just after finding the deposit. If you can't  get the metal out  of the rock spending ...more
