Theres always some value left while it is usually reduced to {like 0.00000001 cent per share} some miniscule amount remains and so will the shares in your account under some obscure listing that you the owner can do nothing with but to give them to your broker to get them off of the books. After you do that your broker now owns them and since they are worth something so if for some reason the ...more

It seems to me that the company should inform all the shareholders no matter what they are valued at. I thank dalesio and all on this board. I tuned out all and everything about orbite sine the dire news. A 2nd chance would be nice, but if old shareholders are not even included, this would salt on a wound.

Don't know too much about these things. To me it's clear. We have shares in Orbite which is now nothing but a shell. All equipment was transfered to the new company. So unless you have shares in this new company (Is it public ??), all is lost IMO. We will never get a cent for our Orbite shares even if this new entity becomes a multi billion dollar company.... I read through the article ...more

This company is not publicly traded. So they waited for orbite to implode. They basically stole people. In some ways I would like to invest in them. They are hyenas anf hyenas are very successful. But they are a private company.
