NLN is down 80% from highs after the lost contract


"In the third quarter, we delivered software licences for current generation and new 4K set-top boxes to a channel partner for deployment at a North American cable operator. The same operator is currently working on its next-generation platform, and we have been informed that this operator does not intend to deploy our software as previously contemplated, and we are in discussions regarding this. We continue to work with our channel partner and operator to improve current user experience and deliver 4K ultrahigh definition on its current platform."

looks like ESP lost ROGERS contract

Neulion (NLN) lost 50% from where it was at, mismanagement of the information of the loss of the NHL contract created a sudden loss of trust in NLN management which in turn perpetuated the share price punishment.  It's a totally different story with Espial.  If people choose to follow NLN as a model, then there will be a lot of folks picking up some very cheap ESP shares in the near ...more

So the radical difference was that there was to be no loss of trust in Espial management leading to a share price punishment??  Your posting was prior to the market open on October 29 - ESP shares subsequently crashed some 38% that day. Interesting analysis indeed! As it It turns out, some did follow the NLN model for ESP and picked up some very cheap ESP shares, didn't they? I don' ...more
