First Trust Exchange-Traded Fund II - First Trust Global Wind Energy ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by First Trust Advisors LP. The fund invests in public equity markets of global region. It invests in stocks of companies operating across utilities, independent power and renewable electricity producers, independent power producers and traders, renewable electricity, electric power by wind energy sectors. The fund invests in growth and value stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. It invests in stocks of companies that directly promote environmental responsibility. The fund seeks to track the performance of the ISE Clean Edge Global Wind Energy Index, by using full replication technique. First Trust Exchange-Traded Fund II - First Trust Global Wind Energy ETF was formed on June 16, 2008 and is domiciled in the United States.

Nice to see some interest here. We've held for about 4 months and I agree, all things being equal it is a buy and forget stock. I looked at about 15 different companies in this industry but FAN made the most sense. From a holdings point of view as well as the currency it was denominated in. We don't own anything else in the wind sector up till now. Good summer to all.
