It was great to hear Fortune Minerals Limited CEO Robin Goad presenting yesterday at Alberta's Industrial Heartland Association's annual conference about the proposed hydrometallurgical processing facility valued at $350 million. This investment is actively completing its feasibility studies in hashtag#LamontCounty. This signifies Lamont County as a highly desirable investment destination. hashtag#LamontCountyNOW

- it 'looks' LIKE the INVESTMENT CAPEX on the PROPOSED Fortune Minerals Lamont AB hydrometallurgical processing facility is GOING to BE HIGHER than the mine and concentrator CAPEX at Nico in the NWT z173

Yes, the Tlicho missed the ball on the big prize, and should have allowed the metallurgical plant on their territories.  The met plant will outlive Nico and will be generating high-paying high tech jobs for many generations.

Who knows.....in addition to the Nico mine, they could just as easily participate in the project in Lamont ! Would certainly be a long term income source ... who knows the discussions behind closed doors  regarding a long term participant agreement - obviously total speculation.  RG presentation in Lamont could have been company news along with some update but again we miss the mark on ...more
