additional financing

It is clear from the PEA model and the balance sheet since June 2017 (and earlier) that RCG never had the cash to bootstrap Dufferin through bulk sampling, ramp up and year 1. And that more cash was needed.

This was a great question about additional financing ...

RCG has significant components of deferred tax assets that RCG can't use.
Here is an appropriate comment.

Leftbook I believe it may be time to throw in the towel; we ar eprobably wasting a lot of time on here talkign about buyouts and mergers when we truly know what the inevitable result will be. The fact that all directors. especially Gibson in November quit and Eric Sprott gave away 8 million shares to charity as a donation tells you what will happen next. Gibson quitting as he is Sprott's ...more

The previous statements I wrote are of my opinion and I feel like we have been thorugh so much with RCG that it was fitting that the end result is a loss. I hope that I am wrong and that they work out some amzing deal that will make us shareholders respect management again and thank them for their efforts. I did hear about 12 different intrerested groups., I heard about an offer. I heard about A ...more

We all would like it to go straight up.  It does not work that way. It is a slow process of two steps forward and one step back.   Looking at the balance sheets (and as always ignoring market prices).   Gibson resignation and Sprott's donation had no impact on shareholder equity between Sept and Dec 2018.   Looking forward. Those two events have no impact on ...more

Damian,  I hope you realize your investment objectives. It sounds like you have been with RCG/Reliance for some time.   I am cautiously optimistic.  I think the tax credits will eventually be as good as gold.

Should have sold at 30 cents a few years ago. George said it was going to a dollar! When it went to 20 cents and then 15 it was because of summer doldrums and so on! Very unwise I listened!

I have seen the $1 idea.     $121.1M NPV pre-tax/123M shares = 0.98c   *******   Hunter Capital had something similar https://gallery.mailchimp.com/4bd4e4f1499417a7a0bac5363/files/3c2e4df4-83df-4745-a5e3-6a3af22c48be/RCG_HCA_20170303.pdf     I am not sure if their numbers dovetailed with the RCG numbers. Or how much cash they thought they ...more

Damian...It would be interesting to see the corporate board minutes regarding the informal proposed merger of ANX and RCG some time ago.  I beleive it would show that Greg Gibson scuttled this deal.  What a mistake and the same mistake is being repeated by MAE.  ANX just strengthened its management team by bringing on a seasoned CEO and now Dustin can focus solely on operations ...more

Funny you mention this.... spoke with people that worked for RCG and they all said Gibson screwed it up and called all the shots and said it was one of the top three projects he has seen; spoke with Gibson and he blamed the others!

Would you make money at 7.42 cents if it was sold for that price? Many people wouldn't!
Comment by LeftBook on Apr 02, 2019 6:54pm
yes. I would make money at book of 7.42c
