Mina Tucano to restart production in Q4’24

This is a useful investor update from the CEO of Tucano Gold who now own Great Panther's gold mine in Brazil. Tucano Gold Investor Newsletter - September 2024

The price of gold is up $1,000 an ounce since Great Panther closed down this mine and the current 80 cent round is closing next week. This round implies a PE of < 1 for 2025. I’m a shareholder and think we have an exciting future.

Assuming GPL was worth close to zero at the time it was liquidated (not likely) you probably don't have that great a chance of being any more productive than the fools at GPL were. If the gold mine is worth something (likely so) the current owners should've done the former shareholders of GPL right by at least offering them a token amount in a buyout so the former shareholders of GPL ...more
