Mining is inherently a risky business. If you are so fearful, you should not be investing in mining or royalty stocks. The Vares stream is a great deal. Groy will be getting $10 million a quarter in copper.

Maybe GROY management should have invested in a royalty or stream in a safe jurisdiction ( like Yukon ) with a solid company like Victoria Gold ? Seriously, hindsight is easy, foresight not so much.

It seems like the market has more than discounted the Vares as a total loss. Just eyeballing the drop in stock price of say 70cents x 169million shares = $118 million. Could be a tad overdone?
