GBRR v. GBR Relative Performance

When you've signed an NDA with GBR to discuss potential acquisition and have access to inside information which prevents you from buying in the open market, you do the next best thing and buy GBRR because it wasn't part of the agreement.

That's my thought as to why GBRR is going gangbuster.  All those industry players are climbing over one another to buy as much GBRR as they can.  It's a clear tell as to how undervalued GBR is because industry players are prevented by law from using inside information to acquire GBR in the secondary market.

Interesting take on it, must admit that possibility had not even occurred to me.  I guess the question who, how many if anybody has signed an NDA with GBR. Un less they are courting takeover candidates they might not have given ANybody access to their numbers...

Chris has mentioned they have had multiple conversations with interested buyers.  NDAs are generally signed before any data is exchanged.  Customary in M&A.  Once you sign an NDA, your control room better restrict the security from being acquired in the secondary.  At least that is in the US market.

Isn't all the data being put out in the public domain the only thing required to understand it is the appropriate software. Mackie and other analysts seem to believe they have a pretty good handle on the resourse model and they update their # 's as more data becomes available. I think GBR are doing this for very obvious reasons, at some point we are going to hit a tonnange and grade # that ...more

NDAs protect the parties in a a bilateral transaction. I don't think Chris and team want to get sued for announcing Newmont or Agnico are interested in potentially acquiring GBR.

McEwen still hanging around like a bad disease, lots of games with his RBC on alternate exchanges. Much tougher for him to down tick on the royalty.

I'd like to know how long the standstill agreements are in place with the companies looking in the data room. They have had 3 offers within the last year but none have been made public. Will it be friendly or hostile? I have a feeling the sharks are already circling.

They are using the the royalty as price discovery to put a bottom dollar value on Dixie. In all likelyhood Franco will take a run at it as they have control over the majority of NSR's in redlake. GBRR is going to get taken out before Dixie.
