gdxj rebalancing good for KL

The big shuffle in gdxj will be good for KL. They will have to increase their holdings here by a lot! They 'll need to go from 3.7% to 6.2% approximately. That would make KL their biggest investment.

Think thats why we see strange things here lately

If KL needs to go from 3.7% to 6.2% of the gdxj ETF, I would have thought that KL shares would be in demand and the price would increase? Both my gdxj miners KDX and KL have both been downgraded since the announcement of the gdxj shuffle - I do not know of any miners benfiting, but some must ...more

Those downgrades are usually an indication that it will be hard for them to get shares. They are all CORRUPT, seen that many times before. The guys at Van Eck have lots of connections. On the other hand, you never know where they will get those shares. Could be fixed between etf's, institutions,... And also, gold and silver are down today... Always remember, its a marathon, not a sprint!

Why do they have to rebalance? KL was added to GDXJ in December 2016 after the effective merger with NMI. GDXJ had no KL before. KL value holdings is about on par with PVG at $ 260.0-275.0 m$.
