Bill Ackman (age 48) has a superiority complex and eccentric in that he has always done much better than his peers thru long hours and effort (eg, photocopied 700k pages of statements). Thru conditioning and competitiveness, he often looks down at others which is why he speaks in demeaning manner that people are often upset/ticked off as little respect is given to other remarks as he strives to be first/top (know it all) in everything. He scored his SAT with only 1 mistake (almost perfect score) and attended Harvard for his BA and MBA. He started numerous investment companies and runs his current hedge fund. He rose to fame during the tsunami when he shorted MBIA and sits on net worth in the billions. Lately he has been entangled with his $1b short position on Herbalife that has preoccupied his time in recent years as he must be proven right regardless of the cost and time consumed.
