Time for a big batch of fumed silica or battery powders  or Si metals production and sales ....What HPQ is about to bring to these markets is phenomenal to say the least....I read that fumed silica  could be used in the cement manufacturing to add to Pyrogenesis new green replacement for fly ash.....This could be a big market for HPQ's green fumed silica....This story just keeps getting better & bigger....unlike the  manipulated  SP  that will explode once any or all of these verticals make sales ....uncleron is always right  !..cheers

the silica in cement is old news, the story isnt getting bigger, the price isnt being manipulated there is just no interest.... the only thing you are remotely correct on is the fact there is potential for this to explode...... unclewrong isnt completely wrong on this one.... but definitelty not right

I am pretty certain that the supplementary product being mentioned is silica fume and not fumed silica! Two different materials with ditto chemical, physical characteristics. Silica fume can be gained e.g. as a byproduct in an electric furnace to obtain silicium (or iron/silicium alloys). I should have been more clear Ivan...I was reading where HPQ's fumed silica also has properties that are compatible with cement fly ash usage....Regardless the progress made by HPQ and  Pyrogenesis is incredible ....The demand for a fly ash replacement is massive....The demand for fumed silica is big and likely to grow especially with a  new green version that's not a by product
