Interesting

Royal Bank of Canada advised and worked with an Aussie gold miner  to relieve a French Bank from closing on debt owed from a British controlled Canadian gold miner....if it works out as it appears planned  , then Royal Bank gets fees, French bank gets gold, British investment company loses 50-60 million in share cost along with all Canadian shareholders   and a vulture from down under scoops up the carcass and has a meal for years to come

The carcass has to be brought to life if there is any chance of getting a decent meal. It's still in it's death throes and needs some CPR. I used to be fully trained in CPR but since I left the railway alas my certificate has lapsed.

For carcass, one could only pray. lol.. CPR would have worked before it truned into that state -- too late now. At least I'm having fun laughing at my own few 100,000 bits of stupidity.

it's hard to believe no offers were made and that new gold and appian now walk away with nothing rather than coming to agreement on something. yes this is over, when fti consulting appears on the scene it's done and they don't give a rat$ a$$ about bad feelings. new gold had to come in with it's own management team for this to have had a happy ending.

It's hard to even type these words....fighting over amounts less than $ 100 million leads me to question....is there really more than just the  reported reserve of 797,000.....maybe they all know something....obviously perhaps the battle over the possibilty of several billion in gold is not worth waging war over....better lick your chops and walk away??....or not

In my mind the amount of gold is not the issue at hand. The issues that caused the problems are too numerous to list.Operational challenges including labour shortages, lack of operating capital,Covid, poor equipment, etc ,etc as well as financial obligations that couldn't be met with current production. The gold is there make no mistake ,it was getting it out at a profit that was a challenge that ...more
