rumours!

CHARIOT OIL & GAS: The oil explorer rose late on Thursday amid a myriad of speculation including one that oil giant BP was interested in buying the firm, according to traders. The Times market report also cited talk that HRT, a big latin American oil company drilling near Chariot's prospect off Namibia, had struck and struck big.

make of it what you will. seems way too early for me but just the beginning of the interest/rumour mill that is focussing on HRT's drilling. worldwide interest and implications. companies and investors to be affected are listed in exchanges all over the world and feature minnows like EOG to majors like BP

On March 18th, Upstream announced that HRT had begun drilling 1-HRT-11-AM on block SOL-T-172 in Amazonas. The project aimed to test a formation expected at 2080 meters depth with potential oil accumulations, before reaching a proposed total depth of 2175 meters.   After +15 days, it is possible that they hit material pay dirt? The timing could fit with the Reuters story. GLTA!
