Looking Forward

I cannot comment about collusion...however given the poor results on the last handful of JNR programs I am not unhappy to see Denison (think Phoenix Discovery) at the helm. The real issue with JNR is poor science; no one has ever found a mineable deposit outside the basin...yet, there they were, ignoring the rest of the scientific community...wasting shareholder money....that’s the real issue. Yes, they found the Moore Lake deposit but since then…zilch…that’s what sunk JNR.

Longcycle, So what you are saying is? Its okay that JNR was a proxy for Denison all of these years with the shareholder paying for the geoligists exploration. Do you know what 25% of Moore lake is worth? DNN does. This deliverance revisited cornhole-ing can only be salvaged if one believes, as I do.....Denison will eventually be taken over by Cameco.

Jack PineSavage.  Excellent post, with specific reference to the stockholder subsidizing the exploration for Dension's  benefit, and what Denison knows that was not shared with the stockholders and was not used to seek out deals that could have either kept the company intact for future appreciation, or have resulted in a much better buyout.     I think the stockholders are ...more

I have resigned myself to the JNN  share conversion because there is no way to get full value selling now, and taking the haircut. JNN shares are an arbitrage on the DNN shareprice. Denison shares are more liquid than JNN, and doing the math, the net will be better selling after the merger. If you own 10m shares of JNN you will recieve 730 shares of DNN. 730 X $1.25= $ 912.50.  ...more

I agree.  DNN is on my shopping list.  I've owned JNN for years now.  yeah...we all got screwed, but DNN is positioning itself to be a big player.  I also have uuu.to on my list to buy.  I have lots of UEX.TO also, but this could also be a take-out target soon too.  Others I would not buy right now because of the "take-out" factor are:stm.to, and cvv.to. ...more

Stockgod, I hope you are still with us, and didn't sell at the lows? Denison will be the benefactor of having acquired JNR on the cheap. The only positive is Denison was trading at a low, at the same time it tendered the offer. I believe Hochstien who orchestrated this insider deal will take care of himself first. Denison's shareprice increase is a proxy on JNN and may prove to be the best ...more
