Kinross 2nd qtr profit should have big gain

Gold has stayed above $2300 an OZ  for much of this 2nd qtr.. If that holds true, we should have a radically better 2nd qtr than first qtr .

Consider this from 2024 ist qtr. report. 

Average realized gold price10: The average realized gold price in Q1 2024 was $2,070 per ounce, compared with $1,894 per ounce in Q1 2023.

Revenue: During the first quarter, revenue increased to $1,081.5 million, compared with $929.3 million during Q1 2023. The 16% year-over-year increase is primarily due to increases in gold equivalent ounces sold and average metal prices realized.
