The Bashers

The regular bashers are having their days, as the share price has been under pressure. This also attracts a few others that are attracted to the opportunity to explain why they are not shareholders, and why LBE is a poor investment.

It's a time that LBE shareholders should put things in perspective, consider the circumstances, and the source of the criticism.

It is easy to form an opinion on the credibility of the bashers. gsgold, may be well intentioned, and a perfectly honourable person. But his reasons for getting out of LBE are a bit from left field. Anyone that lives in Canada, and thinks that global trade is not needed, is living in a dream world. And someone that invests is commodity stocks, holding ths opinion, is a bit scary.

The rocksolid/trailorparkboy/doingthejob group of organized bashers need little comment. Their agenda does not have to be discussed, in order to assess their credibility. Their actions prove without a doubt that they are dishonest. Their history of forecasts and opinions on mining stocks proves they are unknowledgeable on the industry, the stock market, and business in general.

JohnEStromJr, has most of the attributes that destroys the credibility of the above organized basher group. His agenda may be different, but his track record indicates he is not a very successful investor in mining companies, at least. His commentary on this and other forums, shows why he is so "unlucky" - he is obviously a neophyte, when it comes to knowledge of the industry. He spouts off facts and opinions, and has the pomposity to believe they should be accepted without question. When challenged his pronouncements can be shot down as false, his opinions are often inane -  resulting from radical thinking and conspiracy theories that are a mix of paranoia and a plain weird outlook (that's putting it kindly - a less kind description would be nutcase). On top of this Junior Strom is inconsistent. He says one thing, then contradicts himself, and makes no apologies for the misinformation that he spreads.

The past week's pressure on the price appears to be largely selling pressure from one house (RBC). For whatever reason, likely a holder that has decided to liquidate, it does not change the fundamentals that apply to this company. The single most compelling reason, in my opinion, for exceptional share price appreciation is the operating cash flow that this company can generate at the level of production that was announced on July 15. Subject to Nickel price levels, these levels of production can put an end to any questions on debt retirement and preferred share redemption questions. Contrary to the bashers claims, the debt and preferred share amounts are not large in relation to current cash flow capability. The cash flow capability and financial position of the company, in relation to market capitalization will, in my opinion, result in share price appreciation when it is accepted by the market. Acceptance by the market may have to wait for release of financial statements showing financial results at current capacity. Then there's the potential for cash flow improvements, though mill capacity increase, tweaking of operating efficiencies, elimination of debt charges and preferred dividend payments, and the possibility of other revenue streams.

Like legend, my opinion is that current share price levels present an opportunity to increase positions.

Millwright aka Victor, Yeah good idea lets keep things in perspective. LBE is dead money, they squandered a perfectly good opportunity to be profitable, lost 51% to Jilin Jien who will eventually take them over and go private. Then there is you whose actions prove without a doubt that you are dishonest. Your history of forecasts and opinions on mining stocks proves you are ...more
