Lycos is drilling just northeast of Lloydminster. Drilling on the Saskatchewan side of the border allows Lycos to take advantage of the reduced royalty rates for multi-lateral drilling that were recently announced. I am sure the Bonanza Drilling Rig #4 crew appreciates a "city" job where it is a 5 minute drive back to the hotel at the end of the day.

The 04-05 Saskatchewan border drilling location shows 6 multi-lateral legs heading towards the south southwest in the direction of Lloydminster. These are the multi-lateral wells that Lycos is presently drilling. There are also 4 legs that head northwest from the same 04-05 location. When finished there they will move the rig one mile east and do some more multi-lateral drilling at the next site,

Thanks UWEBB429. I for one appreciate all the information you have dug out and provided on LCX. I still believe they are doing a great job management wise with excellent drilling results coming in. So, therefore, it is just a matter of time before we see a nice bump up in the stock price.

I thought Bonanza Rig #4 would be spending some time in Saskatchewan. I was wrong. Rig #4 has returned to Alberta. It will be working about 14 miles west south west of the very successful wells that Lycos drilled earlier this year in the Wildmere field. Two of those earlier Wildmere wells had IP30 rates of 400 boe/d. A few more of those would be nice.  The new surface location is at LSD 06
